Calibration Technician – Dimensional & Mechanical Tools

About the role

We are seeking a Calibration Technician to perform precise calibration of dimensional and mechanical measuring instruments. The role ensures that all tools meet ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and SAC‑SINGLAS standards, supporting both in‑house and on‑site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Calibrate dimensional and mechanical tools (e.g., torque and force devices) in the laboratory and at customer sites.
• Accurately record calibration data on worksheets, maintaining traceability and compliance with ISO standards.
• Follow management instructions and carry out ad‑hoc duties as required.
• Collaborate with team members to guarantee high‑quality outcomes.
• Maintain clear, legible documentation of all calibration activities.

Required profile

• Understanding of SAC‑SINGLAS ISO 17025 requirements.
• Relevant technical qualification in a related field.
• Prior experience in dimensional and/or mechanical calibration or CMM measurement.
• Strong work ethic and good handwriting.

Required skills

• Dimensional tool calibration.
• Mechanical tool calibration (torque, force).
• CMM measurement techniques.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 compliance.
