Cash Management and Channel Products Intern

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting a Cash Management and Channel Products Intern for its Transaction Banking Office for Asia, Product Department, Cash Management & Channels Team. The internship runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 and is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only, through MUFG's internship partners in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and help drive product development, initiatives and delivery of cash management services (payments and collections) and channel products for the ASEAN region, working with senior colleagues.
• Collaborate with product partners and regional stakeholders to deliver products that meet customer needs while following bank guidelines, procedures and local regulations.
• Support departmental initiatives and strategies that improve processes, create revenue opportunities and raise service quality.
• Help analyse product performance and commercialisation data to identify growth opportunities and process improvements.
• Assist in maintaining product manuals and ensure products are launched on time with the sales team and product partners.
• Take part in regional committees, summarise discussion points and next steps, and prepare clear reports and materials for project and management discussions.

Required profile

• Proactive, dynamic and eager to learn, able to work independently and seek guidance from seniors when needed.
• Strong communication skills across cultures and languages, with English proficiency.
• Logical and analytical thinking, and openness to technical discussions and documents.
• Team player who thrives in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Good proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
