Casualty Claims Analyst

About the role

AIG is looking for a Casualty Claims Analyst to join its Claims team in Asia Pacific. Claims teams handle client claims with technical excellence, responsiveness and fairness, and this role contributes to that service. Team members are expected to be primarily in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and process payment for on-Gl value-based claims
• Handle administrative work such as processing, coordinating and distributing incoming and outgoing claim documents
• Enter and update key data in claims systems, compute claims, process payments and recoveries, and assist with KIV files
• Run reports and claim statistics for stakeholders
• Perform ad hoc administrative duties and file documents electronically
• Contribute to continuous improvement of claim file handling and follow best-practice protocols

Required profile

• Minimum diploma qualification in any field and basic insurance certifications such as BCP and Comm GI
• Administrative experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of legal, regulatory and litigation/procedural requirements for the line of business preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
