About the role
We are seeking a motivated Chef to support the Sous Chef in the daily operations of our Korean and Japanese restaurant located in Woodlands, Singapore. The role involves preparing dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and ensuring smooth service for both buffet and à la carte menus.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Sous Chef in the proper running of the assigned kitchen.
- Organise and prepare dishes for buffet and à la carte menus, including mise en place.
- Monitor production levels to meet business needs.
- Ensure quality and quantity standards are consistently met.
- Check that all kitchen equipment is in good working order and report issues to the Sous‑Chef.
- Prepare work orders for the engineering team when necessary.
- Assist with cleaning the refrigerator and setting up the workstation each day.
- Collaborate with stewarding to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
