Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

About the role

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will define and lead HOYA Group’s enterprise‑wide cybersecurity vision, strategy and program. Reporting to senior leadership, the CISO ensures that information assets and technologies are protected, regulatory requirements are met, and a culture of security awareness permeates the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a holistic cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead the creation and implementation of global information security policies, standards and procedures.
• Oversee enterprise‑wide information risk management and ensure compliance with regulations and standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Direct day‑to‑day monitoring, SOC operations, threat detection and incident response activities.
• Define secure architecture standards and embed security into solution design, promoting zero‑trust, cloud security, SASE and IAM principles.
• Manage internal and external security audits, assessments and regulatory reviews.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in cybersecurity within a global enterprise.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments and risk management frameworks.
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive security culture across all levels.
