Civil Construction Project Engineer

About the role

The Civil Construction Project Engineer will lead and coordinate construction projects across Singapore, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with architects, contractors, and senior management to deliver successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and develop project timelines, budgets and resource plans.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and environmental requirements.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, contractors and consultants.
• Monitor progress, adjust schedules and budgets as needed to keep projects on track.
• Develop and implement quality control and assurance procedures.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Review and approve project plans, specifications and contracts.
• Identify risks, propose mitigation measures and seek improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods and regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large‑scale projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management for construction projects.
