Civil Engineering Drafter

About the role

METTRADE INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Drafter to join its design team in Tampines, Singapore. You will be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings that support a variety of infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings, including site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, road alignments, and utility plans.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Interpret engineering calculations, sketches, and specifications to create precise drafting outputs.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors throughout project development.
• Maintain organized drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
• Assist with quantity take‑offs and the preparation of technical reports when required.
• Conduct site visits for measurements and verification as needed.

Required profile

• Knowledge of civil engineering drafting standards and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with BIM and AutoCAD tools.
• Basic understanding of surveying and land‑development concepts.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to extended hours when required.
