Civil Engineering Manager

About the role

A civil engineering manager is sought in Singapore to oversee the full project lifecycle of smart, sustainable and operationally critical infrastructure assets. The role works closely with consultants, contractors, government agencies and senior stakeholders, driving innovation, sustainability and digital transformation. The client is involved in global trade and supply chains, with advanced automation and smart technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure and building development projects from feasibility studies through final handover
• Plan, budget, execute and track progress, and govern projects
• Coordinate architects, engineering consultants, contractors, regulators and business stakeholders
• Turn operational and business objectives into practical development and infrastructure solutions
• Oversee tendering, contract administration, procurement and construction management
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, schedules and budgets
• Promote smart technologies, digital solutions and sustainability initiatives

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure planning, project development, construction or capital project delivery
• Track record managing large-scale infrastructure, industrial, transportation, logistics or development projects
• Experience managing external consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder influence
