Civil & Structural Engineer

About the role

The Civil & Structural Engineer will oversee the full lifecycle of civil, structural and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, liaise with clients and supervise site activities across a range of utilities and road works.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project phases from feasibility study, planning and design through tendering, construction inspection, administration and commissioning.
• Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings and calculations that meet project specifications.
• Coordinate project activities, monitor progress and control costs to avoid overruns.
• Maintain project documentation in line with company quality standards.
• Communicate proactively with project teams and clients, providing updates, identifying issues and implementing solutions.
• Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, supervise staff and ensure compliance with design intent.
• Participate in project meetings to align stakeholders and support project objectives.

Required profile

• Middle‑management level experience managing civil, structural and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of pipelines, sewers, drainage systems, pumping stations, reservoirs and road construction.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
