Client Manager – Singapore

About the role

The Client Manager based in Singapore will be responsible for developing, maintaining and growing revenue from owned accounts across the assigned territories. The focus is on leisure retail agencies and tour operators in Singapore and neighbouring markets, supporting Belmond’s portfolio of luxury properties.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and submit an annual Strategic Sales Action Plan and quarterly plans to achieve revenue targets for each account.
• Maintain frequent contact with property‑based sales teams to ensure product knowledge and alignment of sales strategies.
• Qualify transient sales leads, follow through and secure bookings that meet defined business criteria.
• Analyse account productivity using internal and external data to meet individual customer targets.
• Build and nurture relationships with key contacts, decision‑makers and influencers within each owned account.
• Conduct regular product training for accounts and host events with key clients throughout the year.
• Communicate seasonal promotions across the global Belmond portfolio to support budgeted revenue, especially in shoulder seasons.
• Utilise selling, negotiating and closing tools to improve conversion rates.
• Assist the Director of Sales in organising annual sales series, strategic partner events and trade‑show presence.
• Plan and escort educational trips to key Belmond destinations as defined in sales plans.
• Represent the Belmond brand at industry functions and maintain relationships with tourism boards, airlines and DMCs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales or account management within the hospitality, travel or leisure sector.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets and manage a portfolio of accounts.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel within Singapore and neighbouring countries as required.
• Deep understanding of the Singapore leisure market and its key players.
