Client Relationship Manager – Institutional Fundraising

About the role

Partners Group is looking for a Client Relationship Manager to join its Client Solutions institutional fundraising team in Singapore or Hong Kong. The role focuses on expanding the firm’s capital base among insurance investors across Asia, particularly in Southeast Asia and Greater China.

Key responsibilities

• Lead capital formation initiatives targeting life insurers, P&C insurers and reinsurers across Asia‑Pacific (excluding Australia).
• Support senior leadership in maintaining and growing AUM relationships with existing institutional investors.
• Organise and present client events such as roadshows, roundtables and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide data and timely responses to client inquiries.
• Source investment opportunities from clients, prospects, GPs and industry contacts.
• Assist with client onboarding, including CDD and KYC processes.
• Prepare presentations, product updates and other ad‑hoc materials for senior team members.
• Monitor competitive landscape, regulatory changes and industry trends affecting insurance allocations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, CFA or actuarial qualification) a plus.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in insurance investment management, asset allocation or fundraising for insurance investors.
• Strong understanding of how insurers allocate to private markets, including regulatory capital frameworks and asset‑liability considerations.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent relationship‑building skills.
