Cloud Engineer – Windows & Linux Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to provide Level‑2 operational support for Windows and Linux environments across multiple cloud platforms. The role focuses on maintaining high availability, security, and performance of cloud‑based workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level‑2 support for Windows Server and Linux systems on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WSUS, and Windows clustering.
• Perform scheduled patching using WSUS, SCCM, and AWS Systems Manager.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications on Windows Server platforms; conduct OS diagnostics and performance tuning.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and changes via ServiceNow or Jira while meeting SLA targets.
• Apply CIS hardening baselines, remediate vulnerabilities, and manage IAM permissions using least‑privilege principles.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automate tasks with AWS, Azure, and gcloud CLIs.
• Configure cloud‑native monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Cloud Monitoring) and resolve performance issues.
• Implement and validate backup/recovery strategies, participate in disaster‑recovery testing, and document procedures.
• Create and update SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Windows/Linux administration.
• At least 2 years of cloud operations experience, preferably with AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016‑2025) and Active Directory services.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
