Cloud Infra Engineer

About the role

You will join a dynamic team responsible for exploring, designing, managing and optimising on‑premise cloud infrastructure platforms and services. The role involves implementing cloud networking, storage, virtual machines and security solutions while applying site reliability engineering principles.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy highly available, reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform or Ansible for repeatable, automated deployments.
• Build telemetry to analyse performance and reliability, and define SRE metrics such as SLO, SLI and error budgets.
• Implement security controls to meet organisational standards and ensure compliance.
• Perform capacity planning and troubleshoot incidents to identify root causes and implement resolutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related STEM field with relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations, including networking, systems and storage.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and scripting tools.

Required skills

• Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Linux shell scripting and PowerShell.
• Public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Monitoring and logging tools like Elastic Stack, Prometheus and Grafana.
