Cloud Security Engineer – AWS & Terraform

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen and maintain the security posture of our AWS environment. You will design, implement, and automate security controls while collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security into our CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS environments.
• Configure and manage AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, CloudTrail, KMS, and WAF.
• Monitor, investigate, and triage security alerts and findings.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with infrastructure and application teams.
• Implement IAM best practices and least‑privilege access controls.
• Support cloud security reviews, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
• Automate security monitoring, reporting, and remediation workflows.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, or infrastructure security.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect are preferred.

Required skills

• AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, CloudTrail, IAM, KMS, WAF.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools: Terraform (preferred) and CloudFormation.
• CI/CD security practices and DevSecOps tooling.
• Scripting/automation with Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with SIEM, CSPM, and cloud‑native security tools.
• Knowledge of container and Kubernetes security.
