CNC VTL Machinist – Precision Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC VTL Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Singapore. The role involves operating and setting up CNC Vertical Turning Lathes to produce high‑precision components for the aerospace sector.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines to manufacture precision components.
• Set up and adjust CNC VTL machines according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and machining specifications.
• Perform machine setup, tool setting, and workpiece alignment.
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to ensure product quality.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot basic machining and tooling issues.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow safety procedures.
• Complete production records and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience operating CNC VTL or CNC turning machines.
• Experience in precision engineering or aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and quality requirements.
