College Intern - Electrical/Electronics

About the role

HP is looking for a College Intern in Electrical/Electronics in Singapore. The intern is assigned a mentor and works on a project aimed at improving electrical and electronic troubleshooting and test efficiency in manufacturing, such as test automation tools, scripts, dashboards or troubleshooting aids.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a project focused on improving electrical/electronic troubleshooting and test efficiency in manufacturing.
• Gain exposure and experience in hardware testing and manufacturing processes.
• Develop effective solutions that support automated processes.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a relevant background.
• Available for a 5-6 month full-time internship starting in January 2027.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and also collaborate within a team.
• Understanding of core electronic principles.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of programming, such as Arduino, Python, Visual Basic, GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools.
• Demonstrated interest or proficiency in one or more of: electronics circuit and system design, PCB design and test-board fabrication, test automation with scripting languages like Python or Visual Basic, or using AI-assisted tools for engineering problem analysis.
