Commercial Development Associate – Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Development Associate to support our Business Development team in a fast‑moving logistics environment. You will manage pricing requests, coordinate with internal departments and external vendors, and ensure accurate, competitive proposals are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming pricing requests from customers and internal colleagues.
• Liaise with in‑house teams and external vendors to obtain accurate, competitive quotes.
• Validate supplier rate data and prepare customer proposals.
• Maintain and update vendor rates in the company database.
• Reconcile vendor pricing schedules, contracts and terms.
• Monitor the sales inbox, keep documentation organized and report any rate discrepancies.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key suppliers and third‑party service providers.
• Compile performance logs, support annual supplier reviews and maintain audit documentation.
• Collaborate with the Regional Manager on operational needs and new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree minimum.
• At least 3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics or procurement.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
