Commercial Executive - Estimations (Marine)

About the role

The Commercial Executive – Estimations (Marine) will support the tendering process by analysing costs, preparing estimates and coordinating with vendors and ship owners. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate cost proposals for ship‑repair and marine construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse costs and prepare cost estimations based on tender specifications.
• Obtain techno‑commercial proposals from vendors for cost analysis.
• Perform vendor commercial bid analysis against tender specifications.
• Assist in tender clarifications and negotiations with equipment vendors.
• Prepare credible cost estimates for management pricing.
• Liaise with ship owners, vendors and internal departments on project requirements and costs.
• Negotiate and coordinate project schedules with all parties.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in an engineering field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the marine industry (commercial, production, projects or engineering design).
• Strong techno‑commercial background in ship‑repair or marine construction.
• Proven experience in cost estimation and analysis for new ship‑repair projects.
• Familiarity with bidding and tender protocols.
• Ability to multi‑task and work under pressure.
• Only Singapore citizens will be considered.
