About the role

We are seeking a motivated Commis Cook who is ready to contribute to creating great food and innovative culinary experiences. The role supports daily kitchen operations in a fast‑growing, halal‑certified environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations of food stations and set up workstations with all required ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients according to standard operating procedures and maintain a sanitized, orderly kitchen.
• Present dishes with high quality standards and store food and other items properly.
• Check ingredient quality, monitor stock levels and place orders for mise en place.
• Follow all hygiene and safety procedures throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards in a kitchen setting.
• Passion for diverse cooking styles and a strong desire to expand culinary knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physical stamina and condition to handle the demands of a busy kitchen.
• Flexibility to receive training in English or Mandarin.
