Company Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Company Accountant to join our finance team at Jin Wei Wood Flooring. The role involves overseeing all accounting activities across our Singapore-wide operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare budget forecasts and publish timely financial statements.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely bank payments.
• Compute taxes, prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Maintain balance sheets, profit & loss statements and report on financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions, safeguard data confidentiality and perform database backups when required.

Required profile

• Proven work experience as an accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations, GAAP and financial policies.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle shift work including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Experience with general‑ledger functions.
