Compliance Analyst – Fintech & Crypto

About the role

Bitdeer is seeking a Junior Compliance Analyst to join its fast‑growing fintech and crypto team. You will ensure that all customers, transactions, and third‑party partners are screened and vetted in line with global sanctions, AML, and data‑privacy regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) for retail and institutional accounts.
• Process supplier and third‑party verification work orders via the internal ticketing system.
• Perform daily screening against global sanctions watchlists (OFAC, UN, EU, MAS), PEP registries, and adverse media.
• Utilise blockchain forensic tools to trace cryptocurrency wallets and flag high‑risk interactions.
• Collaborate with Tech and Legal to align automated workflows with regulatory and privacy standards.
• Maintain audit‑ready records of all due‑diligence checks, transactions, and screening decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• 2+ years of fintech/crypto compliance experience.
• Strong understanding of AML, CDD, FATF/MAS KYC/KYB standards and UBO verification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
