Composite Aircraft Technician – Singapore

About the role

Join RTX's Collins Aerospace division in Singapore as a Composite Aircraft Technician. You will work on the inspection and repair of composite aircraft components, ensuring they meet strict aerospace standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of composite aircraft parts to detect damage, wear, and required repairs.
• Carry out repairs on composite structures, including sanding, cutting, bonding, and curing using approved techniques and materials.
• Interpret engineering blueprints, technical manuals, maintenance instructions, and standard operating procedures to execute accurate repairs.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as vacuum pumps, autoclaves, and curing ovens.
• Document repair processes, materials used, and work completed in line with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety (EHS) and quality systems.

Required profile

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or other aerospace‑related engineering fields.
• Experience in aerospace MRO, particularly with composites, is preferred.
• Proficient reading, writing and comprehension of English technical documentation.
• Ability to work from technical manuals, service orders, specifications, and drawings.
• Basic computer literacy; SAP knowledge is a plus.
