Construction Equipment & Machinery Service Engineer

About the role

Citadel Search is recruiting an experienced Construction Equipment & Machinery Service Engineer to oversee inspection, maintenance and technical support of heavy construction machinery across several infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role ensures equipment reliability and compliance through audits, fault diagnosis, minor repairs and coordination of major servicing with external vendors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and audit construction equipment, mainly excavators and cranes, across four ongoing infrastructure projects in Singapore
• Diagnose mechanical and technical faults in heavy equipment
• Coordinate with machinery vendors and suppliers on major repair works
• Carry out routine servicing such as cleaning, lubrication and repair of minor damage
• Escalate and report faulty or damaged equipment to management, and prepare audit findings for submission
• Take part in vendor assessment, equipment selection and evaluation
• Review project performance to spot operational gaps and recommend corrective actions

Required profile

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in equipment management
• Strong communication skills
• In-depth understanding of applicable regulations
• Solid knowledge of machinery specifications and operational requirements
• Willingness to work a 5.5-day week (8am-6pm)
