Construction Manager – Water Treatment Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the construction and commissioning of large water and water‑treatment plant projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager, design teams and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing construction and commissioning activities, including processing contractor claims such as progress payments, variations and extensions of time.
• Coordinate and align the work of design teams and contractors to maintain consistent scheduling, cost control, document control and quality‑assurance programmes.
• Review, update and monitor contractor schedules, providing status reports on project progress and financial performance.
• Manage quality‑assurance and safety requirements on site, supervising the consultant’s site‑supervision team.

Required profile

• Approximately 15 years of construction experience, with at least 10 years managing large‑scale water or water‑treatment plant projects.
• Relevant engineering degree or professional certification.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
