Construction Site Manager – Singapore

About the role

The Construction Site Manager will lead daily site operations for multiple projects in Singapore, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance. This role reports to the Project Manager and works closely with subcontractors, consultants, and authorities to deliver projects on time.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise all on‑site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers and workers.
• Monitor progress against approved drawings, specifications, method statements and the project schedule.
• Conduct regular site inspections, enforce safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain site documentation such as daily reports, progress records and inspection logs.
• Identify potential delays or risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Attend and contribute to site, coordination and progress meetings.
• Manage manpower, materials, equipment and resources to meet project timelines.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities for permits and compliance matters.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site management, preferably in building or civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, site operations, drawings, specifications and safety requirements.
• Proven ability to lead subcontractors, site workers and multiple activities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with consultants, clients and authorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with construction/project management software.
