Construction Supervisor – M&E Site Supervision

About the role

The Construction Supervisor will lead the supervision and inspection of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on site, ensuring that installations meet approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards. This role requires close coordination with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to drive progress and maintain quality throughout the construction phase.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect M&E works, verifying compliance with drawings, specifications, and codes of practice.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, system integrators, and consultants.
• Conduct regular site inspections, validate workmanship, materials, and installation methods.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and material submissions.
• Verify installation quality of structured cabling, network infrastructure, server racks, control systems, and field devices.
• Witness system testing, FAT, OSAT, commissioning, and hand‑over activities.
• Identify non‑conformances, report them, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including inspection reports, test records, daily diaries, and issue logs.
• Attend coordination meetings and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Assist the Superintending Officer in progress, quality, safety, environmental, and security control.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of site supervision experience in M&E, IT, ELV or security systems.
• Experience supervising electrical and electronic systems, ELV systems such as CCTV, IDS, and access control.
• Familiarity with Singapore building regulations and statutory requirements.
• Accredited Resident Technical Officer (RTO‑M&E) and valid Building Construction Supervisor Safety (BCSS) certification.
