Consultant - Regulatory Assurance (Financial Services)

About the role

You will join the Regulatory Assurance team within the Financial Services Industry Group, supporting banks, capital‑market intermediaries, insurers, fund managers and government agencies. The role involves delivering independent regulatory assurance and compliance reviews to ensure clients meet Singapore’s regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regulatory audits and compliance reviews, identify gaps and recommend practical solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations and strengthening their regulatory frameworks.
• Support the design, development and implementation of robust regulatory policies, procedures and monitoring programmes.
• Carry out compliance testing and provide actionable recommendations to improve internal controls.
• Participate in secondment opportunities to gain hands‑on experience of client operations.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry with solid knowledge of banking, capital markets, payment services and Singapore’s regulatory landscape (Banking Act, Securities and Futures Act, Payment Services Act, Financial Advisers Act, MAS AML requirements).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, Law or a related discipline.
• Strong academic record and excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and interest in risk, controls and fintech.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and a willingness to learn.
