Contract Manager – Renewable Fuels Trading

About the role

We are seeking a Contract Manager to join a fast‑growing renewable fuels and commodity trading platform in Singapore. The role sits within a regional commercial operations team and supports trading, operations, finance, legal and other stakeholders across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle – drafting, review, execution, amendments and close‑out.
• Coordinate with commercial, operations, finance and legal teams to ensure contractual terms are correctly implemented.
• Support contract negotiations and flag commercial or contractual risks.
• Maintain contract repositories, version control and audit trails.
• Oversee trade‑related documentation and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
• Liaise with counterparties, inspectors, terminals and service providers to resolve documentation and execution issues.
• Contribute to internal process‑improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and transparency.
• Assist with sustainability, compliance and regulatory documentation where required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commodity trading, energy, oil & gas, biofuels or related sectors.
• Proven track record of managing contracts from drafting through execution and administration.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, General Terms & Conditions, Incoterms and trade documentation.
• Experience supporting cross‑functional teams including trading, operations, finance and legal.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience with sustainability‑related documentation or regulated commodity markets is a plus.
