Contracts Manager – Property Development

About the role

The Contracts Manager will lead the commercial lifecycle of property development projects, ensuring that contractual and financial performance aligns with the company’s objectives. This senior position requires close collaboration with project teams, consultants, contractors and clients across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee pre‑contract risk assessment, procurement, tendering and full contract administration.
• Manage post‑contract cost control, budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting, valuations and cost tracking.
• Review tender documents, quotations, extensions of time, liquidated damages and commercial claims.
• Negotiate variations, resolve commercial issues and provide guidance on contractual obligations.
• Prepare variation claims, contractual correspondence, reports and support dispute resolution through thorough record reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in commercial or contract management, with 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven track record across the full project lifecycle, including tendering, risk assessment, cost control and claims management.
• Consultancy experience in engineering, construction or project‑management environments.
