Contracts Manager (Tender)

About the role

The Contracts Manager (Tender) reports to the Director of Contracts and supports all cost and contractual matters for both the main contract and associated sub‑contracts. This senior position plays a key role in tender preparation, cost analysis, and project cost control within a construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Study tender documents, drawings and specifications, source suppliers and subcontractors, and collate pricing for comparison.
• Prepare tender reports, analyse costings and present findings to internal stakeholders with recommendations.
• Attend tender interviews and respond to tender‑related queries.
• Establish project cost estimation and control procedures.
• Control and report overall project construction costs and budget.
• Forecast project budgets and perform quantity surveying activities.
• Provide team support to the Project Manager in contract management and cost control.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities.
