Corporate Banking Intern - Financial Institutions

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting a Corporate Banking Intern for its Singapore team in the Global Corporate Banking Division for Asia. The internship runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 and is based in Singapore, open to Singaporean and PR students only. The intern works alongside relationship managers to help deliver an integrated client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in relationship management and coverage of Singapore direct coverage clients, including local corporates, global subsidiary banking and financial institutions teams
• Support team activities on the deal life cycle, including origination, business proposals, deal execution and post-deal monitoring
• Support execution of corporate financing transactions for clients
• Prepare client presentations and develop client relationships through deal execution and pitching
• Prepare internal materials and assist with managing internal approval processes
• Work with experienced stakeholders and banking products such as Global Markets, Debt Capital Markets (loans and bonds) and Transaction Banking
• Develop presentation and communication skills by presenting projects and/or case studies to business partners and management

Required profile

• Keen interest in working in finance, with relevant prior internship experience
