Corporate Counsel – Regulatory (Satellites)

About the role

Amazon Leo is launching a Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation to deliver high‑speed broadband to underserved communities. We are seeking an experienced, technically‑savvy lawyer to join the Amazon Legal team supporting this initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit regulatory filings, primarily for the Asia‑Pacific region.
• Analyze complex, novel regulatory issues with high visibility.
• Collaborate with technical, regulatory, business, and legal stakeholders on strategic decisions.
• Develop and execute strategies for engaging regulators to benefit customers.
• Work independently while meeting aggressive deadlines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of legal experience with a law degree and bar admission.
• Experience in both corporate law firms and in‑house legal teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight timelines.
• Background in technology, telecommunications, or international business law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with satellite communications regulatory filings.
