About the role
Google’s Legal Department is seeking a Corporate Legal Specialist to support its subsidiaries across the Asia‑Pacific region. Based in Singapore, you will work closely with internal teams and external parties to ensure corporate governance, compliance and secretarial matters are handled efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Manage corporate expansions, liquidations, integrations and related statutory compliance.
- Support incorporations, statutory filings, and process‑improvement initiatives.
- Maintain legal records, conduct research and coordinate communications across the Legal team.
- Handle information requests and coordinate corporate compliance activities within Google.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience in a law firm, government agency or in‑house legal department.
- Qualified company secretary or paralegal experience supporting corporate law or M&A matters.
- Strong ability to organize and understand complex legal documents.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Fluent communication in English and Mandarin Chinese.
