Cost Accountant – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Cost Accountant to lead plant cost accounting activities within our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for managing material expenses, tracking variances, and ensuring accurate financial reporting to support profitability and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee plant cost accounting, material expense tracking and variance analysis.
• Conduct regular evaluations of inventory reserves, work‑in‑process (WIP) and cycle counts.
• Support revenue recognition for project‑based contracts.
• Partner with plant and senior management to provide financial inputs for commercial tenders.
• Lead process automation initiatives across ERP systems to strengthen internal financial controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in manufacturing finance, plant cost accounting and business partnering within an international corporate environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and effective interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
