Credit Intern

About the role

Funding Societies | Modalku, the largest SME digital financing platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a Credit Intern in Singapore. You will join a growing credit team and support its core lending decision processes by managing critical data and ensuring operational excellence. The role suits a proactive problem-solver who wants to learn quickly and provide customer-centric support.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor credit limits and exposure
• Process trade drawdowns
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit files and documentation
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures
• Prepare credit reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by the credit team
• Collaborate on data analysis and process improvement using tools such as SQL, Python, Activepieces and Gemini

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn credit analysis and risk management
• Prior internship or work experience in finance or banking preferred but not required

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; G-Suite preferred
• Good to have: basic SQL and Python, and awareness of generative AI tools like Gemini
