Customer Service Officer

About the role

We are seeking a responsible Customer Service Officer to coordinate import and export shipments while ensuring high‑quality service for our clients. You will act as the primary point of contact, handling enquiries, documentation, and post‑sale support to boost customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all import and export shipments based on allocation.
• Prepare permit declarations (Pure CO, Permit with CO, Permit for Export/Import/Air).
• Respond promptly to daily customer enquiries regarding order and delivery status.
• Handle incoming calls with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales representatives to provide pre‑ and post‑sales support.
• Ensure accurate client invoicing and billing.
• Purchase insurance and arrange claims on behalf of customers.
• Draft and issue quotations for potential and existing customers.
• Perform any ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in freight forwarding.
• Ability to manage cross‑trade shipments.
• Friendly, customer‑service oriented and a strong team player.
• Excellent communication skills.
