Customer Support Specialist

About the role

Boeing Distribution, a solutions provider of aftermarket supply-chain management services for the aerospace and defense industries and the largest subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is hiring a Customer Support Specialist for its Singapore office. The role covers processing orders, preparing correspondence and fulfilling customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Quote customers and provide product information as needed
• Enter customer orders and manage orders
• Resolve customer accounts and handle credit dispositions
• Manage customer returns and warranties
• Communicate with customers and deliver training
• Support customer special projects and programs
• Work closely with sales, supply chain and operations

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer support or customer service, direct or indirect
• Minimum 3 years of experience using SAP or a similar ERP system
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and occasional weekends
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• University degree in Business or Aviation, or college-level courses
• Preferred: 5+ years in operations, distribution center, aerospace or similar environments; data analysis and troubleshooting experience; ERP reporting tools such as Spotfire or Tableau; familiarity with soft phones and Salesforce

• Excel, Access or other database management tools
• Preferred: Microsoft Office tools, Smartsheets, ERP reporting systems
