Cyber Engineer (CrowdStrike)

About the role

NCS is seeking a Cyber Engineer with deep expertise in CrowdStrike Falcon to lead a comprehensive security assessment and remediation project. The role involves reviewing firewall policies, custom IOA rules, asset discovery data, configuration baselines and network equipment vulnerability detection, and delivering actionable artefacts and hand‑over documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessment of existing host‑based firewall, custom IOA, asset discovery and configuration baseline scopes, producing detailed findings and remediation recommendations.
• Develop prioritised remediation and tuning plans, including false‑positive reduction, rule corrections and validation activities.
• Deliver artefacts for Host‑Based Firewall, Custom IOA, Asset Discovery and Configuration Baseline, each containing policy design, validation results, gap analysis and final baselines.
• Establish a process to detect network equipment vulnerabilities via CrowdStrike, validate findings against CMDB and asset ownership records, and produce periodic reporting.
• Provide testing and validation evidence, operational hand‑over guide and knowledge‑transfer sessions for the Day‑2 Operations team.

Required profile

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure or related technical roles.
• Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset and ability to work in fast‑paced project environments.
• CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator (CCFA) preferred.
• Must be a Singapore citizen due to project sensitivity.
