Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen our security posture across cloud, container, and CI/CD environments. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to implement controls, respond to incidents, and drive continuous improvement in our security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Produce routine security reports, dashboards and automate recurring tasks.
• Validate and remediate VAPT findings and other vulnerability assessments.
• Refine incident‑response playbooks, runbooks and support escalation of complex incidents.
• Maintain compliance documentation and evidence collection.
• Implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters and cloud platforms.
• Conduct IAM role reviews to enforce least‑privilege access.
• Participate in threat‑modelling exercises and guide security requirements.
• Perform alert triage, threat hunting and improve detection rules.
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts, evaluate security tools in lab environments and share findings.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of security architecture, secure system design and threat modelling.
• Experience with vulnerability validation, remediation and secure CI/CD, Kubernetes, cloud environments.
• Familiarity with developer productivity tools, including AI‑assisted coding workflows.
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR and cloud‑native security monitoring solutions.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and collaborate with technical teams.

Required skills

• Python or Bash scripting for automation.
• SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
• EDR tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
• Kubernetes security and hardening.
• CI/CD security integration (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins).
• Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IAM management.
• Zero Trust principles and secrets management.
• Threat modelling and incident response processes.
