Cyber Specialist

About the role

DSO National Laboratories, Singapore’s largest defence R&D organisation, is seeking a Cyber Specialist to strengthen its security posture. You will work within the Digital Division, handling cyber incidents, conducting forensic investigations and supporting threat‑hunting activities across air, land, sea, space and cyberspace domains.

Key responsibilities

• Perform triage, containment and remediation of cyber security incidents and develop supporting tools.
• Determine root causes, analyse malware and identify exploited weaknesses.
• Conduct forensic analysis on endpoints and network logs to aid investigations.
• Interpret cyber threat intelligence, monitor security events and conduct continuous threat hunting.
• Collaborate with the Information Division and contribute to R&D projects in malware analysis, forensic analysis and threat hunting.
• Experiment with research tools, and implement or customise cybersecurity solutions to improve effectiveness.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related field.
• Experience in cyber incident handling, digital forensics or security monitoring.
• Professional accreditation such as GCIH (or equivalent) is an advantage.
