Cybersecurity Penetration Test Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Penetration Test Specialist to join CSIT, an agency under Singapore’s Ministry of Defence. The role involves performing comprehensive penetration testing across enterprise, cloud, web services and IoT environments, and developing custom scripts to enhance testing capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct network penetration testing on enterprise, SOHO, cloud, web services and IoT platforms.
• Research, evaluate and integrate open‑source security tools.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, PowerShell or PHP to support testing activities.
• Perform security assessments and design new concepts of operation to exploit weaknesses in network security products and appliances.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Degree or strong background in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or Information Technology.
• Demonstrated interest in information security and ability to self‑learn new technologies.
• Only Singapore Citizens will be considered.
