Data Entry Clerk (Permanent Part-Time)

About the role

UPS is hiring a permanent part-time PT Imaging clerk to scan in all export shipments received from customers into the IDIS system so that customs clearance can be processed on time. The role ensures that documentation is complete and properly entered so that clearance runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Key entry of shipment information and upload of shipment and information records to the mainframe
• Auditing paperwork, printing barcodes and scanning paperwork into IDIS
• Ensuring on-time and accurate key entry
• Administrative duties and housekeeping of paperwork
• Verifying and auditing discrepancy reports
• Calling or emailing customers to obtain missing documentation
• Other duties assigned from time to time

Required profile

• At least GCE 'O' or 'N' certificate
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Team player who can work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to work evening shifts (6-10pm at UPS House, 5-9pm at Hub) and one Saturday per month (4-8pm at UPS House)
• Willingness to work overtime and on public holidays when required; team members take turns working on public holidays
• Work location alternates between 22 Changi South and Airport Cargo Road
