Data Management Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Data Management Engineer to lead the hand‑over and governance of project information and data for our offshore projects. The role ensures data quality, interfaces with clients and internal teams, and supports the development of enterprise data platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the hand‑over of project information and documentation to the client in line with agreed procedures.
• Monitor and coordinate all information and data interfaces with clients and third parties, ensuring requirements are met.
• Advise and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, completion & commissioning teams and subcontractors to guarantee data requirements are understood and complied with.
• Work with discipline engineers to maintain data quality against project schedules.
• Partner with the Digital/IT team to set up project databases and tools according to project needs.
• Provide feedback for the Enterprise Data Platform and contribute to long‑term data architecture.
• Identify data‑quality issues, work with stakeholders to resolve them, and track data‑quality KPIs.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in information management within an Oil & Gas EPC environment.
• Engineering background (Mechanical, Piping, Electrical or Instrument) is a strong plus.
• Experience as a Mechanical Completion & Commissioning Coordinator, CMMS Engineer or AVEVA Application Engineer.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or Science.
• Good understanding of EPCI and O&M systems such as AVEVA, SAP, EDMS and CMMS.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives.
