Deals - Financial Due Diligence, Manager

About the role

PwC's Deals Advisory Practice in Singapore supports clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital markets. As a Manager in the Financial Due Diligence team, you will deliver financial due diligence and other transaction-related services to large corporate and private equity fund clients, while mentoring others and maintaining rigorous standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial and operational results by reviewing accounting records and interviewing management
• Assess quality of earnings, net assets and cash flows
• Resolve technical accounting issues and identify issues for purchase price reductions and deal structuring
• Take part in client discussions and meetings
• Plan, prepare and review deliverables such as Excel databooks, written reports and presentations
• Mentor and guide junior team members

Required profile

• Degree in accounting or business from a recognised university, or professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in global accounting firms, with detailed knowledge of financial due diligence and M&A processes
• Proven leadership in delivering due diligence to large corporate and private equity clients
• Experience interviewing executive management at target companies and assessing quality of earnings, net assets and cash flows
• Prior experience in South East Asia is highly regarded but not essential
• Willingness to travel
