Deals - Financial Due Diligence, Senior Manager

About the role

PwC's Deals Advisory Practice supports businesses in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital markets, and is the largest in Singapore. As a Senior Manager in the Financial Due Diligence team, you will deliver due diligence and other transaction services to large corporate and private equity fund clients, lead large projects, coach teams and interact with clients and senior management at a senior level.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and drive due diligence engagements on acquisitions or divestments for financial and private equity clients and strategic/corporate clients
• Analyse financial and operational results by reviewing accounting records and interviewing management
• Interview executive management at target companies and assess quality of earnings, net assets and cash flows
• Manage resolution of technical accounting issues and identify issues for purchase price reductions and deal structuring
• Supervise and coach team members, giving timely feedback
• Interact with clients and senior management to drive project success

Required profile

• Degree in accounting or business from a recognised university, or professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in global accounting firms, with detailed knowledge of financial due diligence and M&A processes
• Proven leadership in delivering due diligence to large corporate and private equity clients, and in interviewing target company executives
• Prior experience in South East Asia is highly regarded but not essential
• Willingness to travel; shortlisted candidates only will be contacted
