Deputy Director - Talent Acquisition Lead

About the role

NHG Health is looking for a Deputy Director, Talent Acquisition Lead, a group-level leadership role driving centralised recruitment across its cluster of institutions. You will lead a team of recruiters across Medical, Nursing, Allied Health and Pharmacy, shaping how NHG attracts, engages and hires talent at scale in a fast-moving healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Talent Acquisition strategy and delivery across the cluster (local, overseas and campus hiring), partnering with the Director, Strategic Clinical Manpower Office (SCMO) to align hiring with workforce needs.
• Build clinical talent pipelines through sponsorships, direct sourcing, global outreach and key overseas networks such as SMSUK and SMSANZ.
• Lead employer branding and outreach, including campus outreach, career events, digital campaigns and professional networks, and develop recruitment campaigns and content.
• Drive process excellence and standardisation, improve Applicant Tracking System (ATS) capabilities, candidate experience and adoption of digital tools and AI, and oversee agency strategy and recruitment channels.
• Define and track KRA metrics for Talent Acquisition within SCMO, lead cluster-level reporting and analytics, and manage the budget and performance of hiring.
• Lead, coach and inspire a team of recruiters, build partnerships across institutions and champion a culture of innovation, performance and diversity, equity and inclusion in hiring.

Required profile

• 8-10 years of Talent Acquisition experience with a proven leadership track record.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in complex environments.
• Comfortable with data, reporting and analytics at scale.
• Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced organisation while managing multiple priorities.
