Deputy General Manager

About the role

SG Building Construction is looking for a proactive Deputy General Manager to support the General Manager in steering daily operations and driving growth across the business. This senior role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands‑on leadership to ensure the company meets its performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with overall business planning and operational oversight.
• Coordinate and monitor daily activities across all departments to maintain efficiency and high performance.
• Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives aligned with company goals.
• Lead and align multiple teams, fostering clear communication and accountability.
• Track operational metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Represent the organization in internal and external meetings as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
• 2‑8 years of management experience, preferably in a similar senior role within construction or related industries.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on execution style.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
