Deputy Group Finance Director (Consolidation & Reporting)

About the role

Lead the Group consolidation and reporting function, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant financial reporting across the Group. The role also supports strategic finance initiatives such as OneStream implementation and process transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual Group consolidation, reviewing journals, intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation and equity accounting entries.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, management reports and cash flow statements, analysing significant movements.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on consolidation matters and assess accounting implications of acquisitions, disposals and restructuring.
• Support quarterly reporting to the shareholder, liaise with external auditors and meet Board reporting requirements.
• Drive OneStream implementation, improve consolidation processes and integrate new entities into reporting systems.
• Lead, coach and coordinate the consolidation and reporting team, ensuring timelines and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline and a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, etc.).
• At least 10 years of experience in complex multi‑entity, multi‑currency group consolidation, preferably with Big Four or large multinational exposure.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, including consolidation, foreign currency translation and business combinations.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder‑management and ability to work under tight reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with OneStream (or comparable platforms such as SAP BPC or CCH Tagetik).
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA financial data structures and interfaces.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis skills.
