Deputy Head of Human Resources

About the role

The Deputy Head of Human Resources will partner with the Head of HR to shape and execute the people strategy for a leading insurer in Singapore. This senior position drives culture, organisational effectiveness and HR operational excellence across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of HR in developing and implementing the overall HR strategy.
• Lead enterprise‑wide initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and improve organisational effectiveness.
• Partner with senior management on workforce planning, organisational design, succession planning and talent development.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle, learning and development programmes, HR process improvement and office administration.
• Act as deputy for the HR Head, providing leadership, coaching and development for the HR and Administration team.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources Management or a related professional qualification.
• At least 10 years of HR experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience driving enterprise‑wide change in an insurance, financial services or listed‑company environment is advantageous.
• Excellent influencing, communication and continuous‑improvement mindset.
