Deputy Project Manager

About the role

The Deputy Project Manager will support the Project Manager/Director in overseeing large‑scale infrastructure projects across Singapore, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager/Director in managing and coordinating overall project activities, including site supervision and risk control.
• Support project execution and site operations, monitoring progress to ensure timely completion within budget and requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth execution.
• Implement cost control measures, optimise resource utilisation and maintain project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act throughout all project stages.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering accountability and excellence.
• Monitor compliance with authorities' requirements, regulations and statutory obligations.
• Help identify and manage project risks, delays and other potential issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering recognised by the PE Board.
• Relevant experience in infrastructure projects such as underpasses, ramps, cut‑and‑cover tunnels, roads, rail or airport projects.
